Bishop Leopoldo Corpuz Jaucian, SVD, DD was born on July 27, 1960, in Santa, Ilocos Sur. He was ordained a priest on March 12, 1988, and was appointed Bishop of Bangued on Jan. 5, 2007. His episcopal ordination was on March 26, 2007.

Before his appointment the bishop held the post of Provincial Superior, SVD Central Province. Since 2008 Bishop Jaucian is the National Coordinator of Chinese-Filipino Apostolate in the Philippines.
