Bishop Leonardo Yuzon Medroso, DD. was born on Nov. 6, 1938, in Ormoc City. He was ordained a priest on March 30, 1963, and was appointed Bishop of Borongan on Dec. 18, 1986. His episcopal ordination was on March 17, 1987. Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Tagbilaran on Oct. 17, 2006. His installation took place on Dec. 14, 2006.
Bishop Medroso is Chairman of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) Episcopal Commission on Canon Law.
