Bishop Jose F. Oliveros, DD was born on Sept. 11, 1946 in Quezon, Quezon province. He was ordained a priest on Nov. 28, 1970. Pope John Paul II appointed him on Feb. 2, 2000, Bishop of Boac. He was ordained bishop on March 20, 2000. On May 14, 2004, Bishop Oliveros was appointed Bishop of Malolos. He was installed on Aug. 5, 2004. Currently, he is the chairman of Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) Episcopal Office on Bioethics. Bishop Oliveros speaks Tagalog, English, Spanish, German, Italian; other languages studied: Latin & Greek. (Click here for details)
