A message expressed the Pope’s cordial greetings to the Jubilarians, their families and friends, and to all who joined them on this occasion.
Pope Francis sent a message of prayerful wishes for the 25th anniversary of the ordination of 20 priests in Seoul, South Korea, who celebrated their anniversary mass in the Cathedral of the Archdiocese of Seoul on September 16.
The message signed by Vatican Secretary of State, Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone was addressed to Archbishop Andrew Yeom Soojung of Seoul. The message expressed the Pope’s cordial greetings to the Jubilarians, their families and friends, and to all who joined them on this occasion.
Assuring them of his prayers, His Holiness “encourages Jubilarians to grow daily in ever greater joy and generosity in service to Christ and his Church and to see in this celebration an occasion to renew and deepen their priestly commitments,” the message stated.
Concluding his statement, the Vatican Secretary of State informed the Jubilarians that Pope Francis commended all celebrating the anniversary to the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Korean Martyrs.
